How do you roll back miles on new cluster???
I need a new cluster for my 98 civic... the only problem is that the miles will be different on the new cluster. Ive heard that it is possible to change the miles on the odometer but im not really sure how to do this. If anyone can help i would appreciate it.
hint : have you ever seen the movie "Farris Buelers Day Off"
i took mine apart and used the rubber chuck that my drill had did it for 5 min took ten mins off to let it cool and then did it again i only went 20000 miles but i didnt take to long use a fan to keep the drill cool
ROFLLMAO.......
Man, that was funny.....n-e-way, I have heard something about a drill and long time waiting for the thing to roll all the way around......might be old school though.

ive heard that the needles can come off if you pull them straight out... is that how you got them off? or did you even need to remove the needles?
You can roll the miles on a cluster back?

BTW: why would you need to roll the miles back on a NEW cluster as your title asks?
