Default civic si

i got and 1990 civic si whats the easiest way to get alot of power out of it???

A post like that and you expect people to help you? Just NOS it...

Or you know, be smart and post what you already have to the car, so we don't waste our time. A quick way to get more pep out of a D16A6 (stock Si engine) is to give it a good breathing system, intake, header and exhaust, then get your head shaved a bit to get some more compression. Or do a Minime swap.

a mini me is a pretty good way to get some power.
a mini me is putting a d series single cam vtec head onto a non vtec block.
you can choose from 2 vtec heads, a z6 and a y8, i wont get to mush into the differences so just do your own research and see which one is better for you.

The most power you can fetch out of a D series is on a mild turbo setup. A homemade setup using half decent parts can cost you 1000-1500$, using a 14B turbo, can reach up to 10psi safely on a SOHC and can reach the 200whp mark.
