newbie to the ludes. need help plz
Ok well i just came back from the dealer and i was jus lookin at the cars. same as last time i went lookin, i ended up trading in my 97eclipse for a 04solara. dnt ask why. but i saw a 01 Lude type sh. I went on kbb.com and for that yr they only show 2 options. coupe 2dr and type sh coupe 2dr, what is the diff between both cars? i looked under the hood and it comes with a h22a2, if i member correctly. so if someone can help. and no sorry i didnt do a search cuz its late and i gotta get some sleep for work tomorrow, so any info would be helpful. power diff? or wat it is dat diff. Thanks! peace!
type sh has atts, different cams ( +5 hp i think) is slightly lower, and comes with 16" 5-spoke wheels. it is also heavier than the base model due to the atts system

Wrong... (except for the atts and 16" 5 spoke wheels)
Same power, same cams, same ride height. The sh is not even 100lbs heavier sh = 3042lbs, base = 2954lbs.

This is correct.
I hate it when people talk about the myth of the cam difference in HP terms. The cams might be physically (haven't confirmed) different but it doesn't yeild more HP.

ATTS: Active Torque Transfer System.
It basically sends more power to the outside wheel when cornering making it spin 15% faster than the inside wheel.</TD></TR></TABLE>
It is not compatable with LSD trans swap but cant handle more than 250ish hp so you would need to remove it anyway if you were doing a nice build. Like 4th gens 4WS system there are people that have problems with it throwing codes but people still stand by its effectiveness.
