Default Pic request: 99-00 Civic Type-R vs SI front lip

For my information, 99-00 CTR and SI front lips are the identical! But SOOOO many people are saying the aggressive looking lips are the CTR's.

If we look at Civic Type-R pics, we can definately tell the lip is as same as SI lip.

BUT I want to see a picture comparing genuine CTR and SI lips.

So PLEASE! If anyone owns a genuine CTR lip or knows in fact that CTR and SI lips are the same! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE give a hardproof of them!

Thank you

It looks like the CTR lip is a bit more angled as it bends towards the middle.

They're the same exact thing. The "aggressive" looking lips are the POS plastic abs lips.

I think the OEM Si lip does looks cleaner than the Type -R lip, but i also find it funny that they are the exact same 'style' only the type-r is flared more and that you are calling it out as if it is a 100% different looking lip by calling it ugly. That makes your Si ugly too.

Its not a real oem piece thats why its flared, but the OEM CTR and OEM Si's are the exact same in everywhay b/c they are the same part numbers.

I don't get what you're trying to say. The type r "style" is flared (the abs ones) and ugly looking.

How does that make his Si ugly? his Si lip doesn't look like the type r style.

CTR is a Type R. sorry to break the news, but you sir have a fake lip.

Si's and Civic Type R front lips are identical......this has been discussed a gazillion times.

Didn't Tsunami make one back in the day that was similar to the SI/Type r lip? I can't find any pics of it, the new Tsunami lip doesn't look anything like it but I think the old one did, it had more "flare" to it if I remember right.

thats why i made it clear i had a type r "style" lip and made sure not to mistake it with a ctr lip because i do know ctr and oem are the same. which is why i now have a oem si lip sir

Yo widdy I think you left out the word "style" in your first post. Thats why eca was on your case about it. I wish my car would have been in that pic of the other two mr's.

Yes they are exactly the same, HOWEVER.. a FAKE ctr lip (which most people have) is way more pronounced/aggressive, and you jdm ricers say ctr lip so people assume the ctr lip is more aggressive, its all a big myth. oem ctr and oem si are 100% identical
