Default Removing eclipse headunit in my GSR trouble, please help

I'm trying to remove an eclipse headunit in my 99 GSR Integra and I'm absolutely stuck. I have the whole center console taken out and the headunit is exposed, although there are no visible screws or anything else to seem to take out. I tried to force it out, and it budged a tiny bit, but it seems something is holding it in. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks a ton

Here's a pic of the same headunit (not in my car)

That picture doesn't look like a 94+ integra center console at all. Is that picture from your car?

he did say "(not in my car)"

umm i guess u didn't install it??? the car came like that???

u need to get these things.. i don't know what they are called.. but its bascially 2 strips of metal that u slide into the sides of the head... the strips are about 1cm wide... and 6-8cm long...make sure they don't bend easily..

| <- slide metal strips here.... in the middle somewhere..

|=HEAD=|

if u tried that.. there are screws on the side and the back of the head....

try removing interior panels around the head... see if u can find any screws... on the side.. if u can't find any screws on the side

then see/feel around the back of the head unit if u can for a support screw.....

some are also held in by a screw on the bottom of the unit...

----------
just don't zap ur self....its not fun...

Ohok, didn't even see that. Anyways is your cd player on a dash kit? It should pop out if it is, either that or it's screwed on behind the dash.

If it is in a integra you should be able to remove it with the entire bezel attached. Of if the installer installed it without the kit, then you may need to remove it with the keys that slide in the sides between the radio and cage.

Thanks for the info guys. I slid the radio out of the cage, although now it seems as if the kit (plastic frame) doesn't wanna budge.
