Default Sohc ZC Aftermarket camshaft

hey guys need some help finding a camshaft for my SOHC ZC.
I was just wondering if anyone knew of a good cam that wont murder my wallet but will give me good performance.
If anyone can halp me out i will greatly appreciate it

doesnt ZEX make a non-vtec cam? and for some reason ROCKET CAM comes to mind

I've heard bad things about the Zex cam's idle though.

there are alot, any cam for the a6 will work for the zc, there was one crane cam that I was close to buying but cant remember

The only thing i'm worried about buying an A6 cam is that the SOHC ZC is basically an A6 with a better cam. So if I bought an A6 cam that was supposed to give me 15 h.p. and the ZC is already 10 h.p. better than the A6, then i'd be paying for only 5 h.p.!

then you sell yor zc cam to make some money, look at like you bought a car with a cam installed allready and now you want to upgrade. somewere there is a huge a6 cam chart with comparisons of alot of cams,

exospeed stage 2 cam or the a6 race cam (stage3) nothing but good things i here. me personally im getting the stage 3 just visit there website. exospeed.com also you have to send in your cam to be ground into spec.

if it helps guys, when i still had my d16a6 in i put a zc cam and felt little or no difference on the butt dyno...

all there cams work on a stock head but for true potential a nice port and polish and some new valves and stuff cuz they go past redline .sweet cams if you ask me and there cheap i sort of.

yup d-series.org is the place i kick it there. anything about n/a or force induction they will help you out.

polish not necessary, 9 times outta 10 people over-do it on their polish jobs and then the fuel doesnt atomize properly. port, cam, match the IM and EM ports to your IM and EM, smooth flow buuuuddddyyyyyy

thats just me you bring up a good point temp though i just figure any other way to squeeze out performance out of the a6 is a good thing. good info

good way to get performance is to get 14.6:1 pistons from ENDYN

killer compression on a street car though. wont be very driveable on the street maybe if its a drag car.
