92 ACCORD FUEL PUMP PROBLEM
Well here is the issue. I have a 92 accord EX. I noticed after tons of new parts including the main relay and fuel pump, that my fuel pump does not work all the time. If the fuel pump doesnt turn on during starting, then obviously the doesnt start but if it does then the car starts right up. What could it be? It definitely has to do with the fuel pump electrical.
PS Also some times the car hold back, like I am going to run out of gas, sometimes but never turns off completely during driving.
PLEASE HELP. I LOVE THE CAR. WANT TO FIX THIS. PLLLLLLEEEEAAASSSEEE HHEELLPP

Maybe try some of this ignition troubleshooting. It may come accross your problem somewhere along the path. It's all I can think of. Click on link below. Good luck

Hey Im having the same problem with my car at this time, a 91 accord ex, and I tested out the electrical with a voltmeter verbatum with what the haynes manual says I should do. I get voltage at the fuel pump but the fuel pump dosent run. This seems like a busted fuel pump. However if your car has a brand new fp and it sounds just like the problem Im having then Im a little wary to put this part in, since I wouldnt be able to return it then. So I guess Im just looking for an update on what your problem is. BTW did you replace the fp or the main relay first?
oh man i just replaced the fuel pump only to realize that i had tested the wrong relay. now theres still a chance that the main relay is bad or something else.....as they say, i am my own worst enemy
