Update 9/18/2006
2nd Test Fit:
Thanks DOHC_C-REX!!!!
the hood is flawless (as expected)
I WANT TO STRESS THAT MY CAR IS CURRENTLY UNDER HEAVY CONSTRUCTION SO NOTHING IS PERFECTLY ALIGNED... AND THIS SHOULD NOT REFLECT ANY PROBLEMS WITH THE HOOD...
Here it apears that the hood is not ligning up with the end of the fender...my hood hinges need to be kicked back a tad and this would eliminate that fitment issue (my cars problem NOT THE HOOD)

Here it appears that the hood sits above the fender... these are aftermarket fenders and do need spacers...

my front bumper needs to be kicked over to the pass side... my problem NOT THE HOOD
Update 9/10/2006
1ST TEST FIT WENT GREAT
Since Erik had his hatch bay completley painted black, he didnt want to undo the fender 10mm to move it over 1-2mm to allow it to latch.
It was all setup for his oem piece, so the first pic isnt totally latched, but this thing looks great. As with anything aftermarket a slight adjustment is needed, but overall, amazing weave, great edges, perfect underside.
That third picture shows the very slight raised emblem and the underside has FiberImages offical stamp of authenticity.
Also notice, FACTORY LATCH
I'm happier then a pig in **** right now, sorry onto the pics:

I'd like to thank Erik (fourthgenhatch) for doing this.

basically, i need one that someone already had cleaned up by a body shop.
or one that was just perfect to begin with, and the way things get treated in those containers, it doesnt seem like many come in mint.....
i could be wrong though!

just got off the phone with JHPUSA.COM
very nice guys. they currently have a 2 month waiting list on their hood which is produced by another company locally, its not the ViS hood, which is interesting.
but still no help to us.
thanks for the bump though.
