Default QUESTION about stock motor!!!! help

ok car was stolen im tring to get some **** together quick i have tried searching

but really dont have the time im working my *** off so i can get a new car


QUESTION is 93 del sol orrg motor motor is a d15 will the same year d16 be a

direct bolt in no hassels or do i need a new ECU again sorry for not having done

more personal research i just dont have the time and need an answer

I believe youll need the d16 ecu and wire up vtec.

The car will run, but it will throw a cel if you don't get the right ecu for it, whatever wiring it that takes: vtec, extra sensors, etc...

almost any swap will run like crap if you don't have the correct ECU.. p28 is your friend

you need to get a good ecu for it whatever it needs like vtec or something

thanks for all the responses guys i have a p28 i got off a friend a while back for free because he took the chip out and put it back in backwads, now it runs only in safe mode, wont rev above 4k rpm, and it was used with a gsr motor... anyone know if this ecu could be saved ?????

If it's rechipped and tuned with Uberdata or Crome, sure.
