Fo'shizzle.
My advice to OP is, go for FI before nitrous
But I'm biased. I love the sound of a turbo spooling.

a stock engine only should handle half of it's stock horsepower, after that u should start working on the bottom, if not you'll notice it in your compression soon.
ANY NITROUS is too much... its for pansy bitches. why risk blowing your motor? its not worth it, at least to me. do it the right way. build up the bottom end and boost it or go N/A. i just think its way too big of a risk!

NOS equals bad unless you have and upgraded valve train, pistons, rods and crank or you plan to tear down your engine, inspect it and then rebuild it every time you use it. Save the money and build up your engine strength before you do something like that, and consider a turbo over NOS. A shot of nos is just a dangerous quick jolt of horse power, but if you really want to I know a guy with and integra with a set up like yours with a 30 shot on it.
i agree with you for the most part... but you're still putting bad ideas into his head!!

Care to support your claim?
As long as you're educated enough to use it and install it properly, n2o is the best bang for your buck out there.
You CANNOT make similar reliable power for less $$$

I am just giving u an educated opinion, but with cars there are too many variables. My K20a3 stock that we put n2 my little brothers 93 hatch has been on the bottle (NX wet) since 03 and we have been and we've been through countless bottles sometimes 3-4 a week. Keep in mind that we do have the wide open throttle and we're only using the 35 pill but we have yet to have any problems. Anybody who knows about spray will tell you that it is no more no less dangerous as a turbo. Honestly my opinion the turbo is more consistent but keep in mind u pay for it in money tuners and most of time without your car. But again thats just me.
There are a lot of uneducated opinions here.
For your car to safely run nitrous, I highly recommend hooking it up to Kpro.
With that you can run 50-70 depending on the tune. And no, you won't blow up your motor.

Sure I'd care to support my "claim". First of all its my OPINION. If you wanna jump all over me about it, thats fine. But it doesn't change the fact that Nitrous is so friggin' stupid.
If you install it "corretly" well gold star for you! It doesn't mean you don't run the risk of completely blowing up your motor. Yeah it's cheaper then actually buying quality parts that actually make your car PERFORM better. Think about what you said.
It's too risky, it's stupid, and I think that just makes a cheater. When I see N2o bottles chillin' in the trunk I just laugh....

^ you're a winner...
You still haven't supported your CLAIM. All you've said is that you don't like nitrous. What makes it sooooo dangerous? If you have a clue and install the kit properly, it's as safe as your eBay intake.
p.s. You get the gold star now.

I personnaly wouldn't run NOS in my car, and contradicting myself to my earlier post I would say that you can run NOS on a car, but only if installed and tuned properly with out shooting to much. Shooting NOS is like boosting a car, you can over do it on either one, Overboost=Blowup Overshoot=Boom as well. This argument comes down to opinion, experience with both and having common sence when using either forced induction or NOS. Either way you go you are still going to have to upgrade the internals to get big HP. Nitrous=Cheap(unless you have a lead foot) and quick, Forced induction=Prolonged HP at one initial cost. It's up to you but be smart if you run nitrous and don't cut corners. Like I said I have seen an Integra with only an intake and exhaust running a 30 shot that has no problems.

i don't care if its installed properly or not. you're a frickin idiot. why don't you do it the REAL WAY. buy some mods that actually make your car perform better instead of buying some piece of **** nitrous system that gives you 50 more hp for what, like 5 seconds? you're so stupid i don't even want to waste my time talking to you, so shutup

I question your dumbass comment and I'm stupid? It's pieces of **** like you that drag this forum down.
N2O is a VIABLE method of SAFELY adding power to a vehicle. Ignore the bull that the dipshit above is spewing. She has sand in her vagina.

I agree with shotta, nitrous is a safe and cost effective method if done correctly. It is not a waste of money and is a "real" way of increasing HP.
And no, it is not like boosting a stock block to 25psi. If nitrous was not safe, no one would use it. The duration of the nitrous spray is good for the 1/4 mile.
Since it is usually combined with basic bolt ons, one can retain their better gas mileage without sacrificing power for the 1/4 mile.
So, importgirl, I will have to disagree with your comments.
And mods, this thread should be locked because it is practically a flame fest.
