Default MPFI conversion OBD0 Code 9, idle issue info *Please HELP*

Hello all,

I just got all the obvious quirks of the mpfi swap complete. I wired everything up, fixed the leaks and two wires that were bad. The car was originally a 91 CRX DX DPFI/PM5 Manual Trans.

The manifold I scrounged up from the junkyard does not have a mounting flange for a iacv, has one for the eacv though. What car is this manifold from? Can I run a idle control system like the 90-91 manual PR4's, that controls psi/vacuum seen at the fuel regulator? I have a spare purge valve layin around, I think this may work...? Plus, the car just rev's at about 2500 when it's supposed to idle. Car pulls and drives nicely, no CEL's Here is more info:

What I am trying to get to idle:
91 d15 (crx dx, manual trans)
____ mpfi manifold- definately is OBD0, don't know what from though
93 d16z6 injectors-obd1, no resistor box, wired direct to pr4.
90 d16a6 distributor
90 pr4 computer

Unfortunately the car is far away form me right now. Any ideas of how to make this idle go down? Poor college student trying to get ghetto junk parts to work=

No, there is another idle valve that is electronically controlled on the 90's civics. I will post pics of the serviec manual if you still don't think this is correct. I got it idleing, the problem was my 6 year old injector seals were leaking vacuum. How does that old Bush song go...

The fast idle on the 89-91 cars?? Thats what your thinking of...

eacv/iacv from what i remember is... the obd0 cars honda called eacv, and the obd1/2 they called iacv. Thats what I gather from ecu pinouts

Yeah, thats the name. I always seem to make things alot harder than they need to be. Upper RPM's still pull like the crappy d15 it is. When I get on it, it spits unburned gas out the exhuast. Gotta love pinching pennies

It could be the b18 ecu you got in there, try a pm6.
