rear turn signals on with the parking lights?

rear turn signals on with the parking lights?
i jus got done doing the front bumper turn signals to be turned on with the corner lights and it looks real good. i was wondering if the the same thing is required to to this in the bak? change the turn signals to an 1157 socket and run the 3rd wire from the parking lights to the new 1157? or would that make it brighten when i hit the brakes and when i turn my turnsignals on. let me know.
