check out https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1577180 look at the last page there is some steelies black wit polished lip
Here are mine:

They need repainting, they were painted alonng time ago and since then the silver has really faded out. Aslong as you rock silver lugnuts, I think gloss black steelies will always look nice.. even so better with the matching black and chrome center caps IMO.
Here's how they looked back in the day when the paint was still fresh on my brother's DA:

Yes my buddy did this...and if you take your time they look great!
for best results (this is almost exactly what he did)
-wash the expletive out of the weels
-lightly sand the areas you are going to paint
-clean again!!!
-now polish the area you plan on polishing
-mask polished area off
-primer paint area with a high quality primer
-and a use a high quality black paint (he went with duplicolor gloss)
-build it up and lightly sand between coats
-remove masking tape
-touch up you polish job if necessary
-hit entire wheel with lots of clear
-after dries hit clear with light sanding again
-and polish polish polish entire wheel
theres a great write up on how to polish in the wheels section
