RSX turns like a minivan?
I currently have a '98 Integra GS-R. I intend to sell it and get a new RSX Type-S. However, upon reviewing the specifications of both my Integra and the RSX I find that the turning circle is over 3' larger in the RSX. While the gen3 Integra has a 34.8' turning circle, the RSX has a 38.1' turning circle. It's even greater than that of a new Accord sedan (36.4') or Odyssey Minivan (37.7')!
Has anyone noticed this? Is the larger turning circle noticable? Do you have to back-up to complete turns in your RSX that you would't think twice about in your previous car?

I've always appreciated the ability of Hondas to manuever in tight spaces. My '81 Accord H/B, '87 Integra H/B, and my current '98 Integra H/B all could easily make quick turns in tight spaces, such as a U-turn without spanning extra lanes.
Will this make or break a decision to purchase an RSX? Definitely not. I'm just curious to find out if it is really that noticable.

well seeing that i own both a dc2 and a dc5, yea i did notice that, but it wasn't something that bothered me or that i even thought about until now...but still i don't see the problem...

The turning circle "felt" quite small to me. I actually find this news pretty surprising considering I was under the impression that it was a pretty tight radius. Could it be possible those stats are a little off? Maybe some more research is in order. In any event, I don't think its anything you'll notice.

The JDM ITR has a large turning radius too...its from the 16" wheels and tires...
