Default Removing Gauge Cluster on 94 EX

I'm trying to remove the Gauge cluster on my 94 Accord EX. I removed the two screws on the top of the gauge cluster part. I took off the sunroof/cruise control button and removed the screw behind it. I also took off the AC **** as well as the defroster button and screw behind that. I removed the two screws behind where the hazard button and the blank panel are.

what else do i need to remove to get the black trim piece out? the left side seems to be out pretty good but the right side near the ac controls seems to be stuck somewhere.

You need to remove the whole center console where the radio is mounted. When you remove that there are two screws holding the bottom of the plastic piece for the climate control. They are not visible sitting in the car, you will have to look hard to see them. I will try to post a pic later, because I know this sounds confusing if you have never done it.

thanks, how do you remove the center console? I pulled the top part which was held in by just clips but the bottom part didn't come out and I didn't want to tug too hard before it broke.

you gona have to put some effort into taking the left side out, where the climate controls are

there are a few clips you have to take out, but you shouldn't have to remover your center console, at least i didn't have to.

There are a total of six screws that need to be removed to get the black trim peice out.

Your only concerned with steps 1-4.

here is a PDF file on how to install a radio in a 5th Gen, it'll show you the steps you need to remove the center console and radio.
