hey i tried to hit it a little because i know pressure builds up and half of the cap broke up. WHich way do i turn it for it to open if i am looking at the engine. Left or right? i dont want the cap to completly go on me, plus i have to buy a new one thanx

Mine gets stupid-tight sometimes. I usually just put a rag over it and use a big set of pliers over that to turn it.

 

if the motor is hot helps too.
