Default NEED HELP, b16a swap with YS1 transmission

I originally had a b16a motor with the s1 transmission cable. The s1 broke and then I bought a YS1 transmission from a ls integra. The problem is the YS1 tranny won't slip into place, are the clutch and flywheels different. If so what clutch do I buy and can I use the flywheel from the S1 transmission.

it should fit fine. you should have to get a new flywheel or clutch. my buddy's hatch had a ls b18a1 in it and we have put a two YS1's and a Y1 and never change a thing. it should bolt right out are sure you got the spines in the tranny lined up with the clutch right.

Early S1 transmissions (90-91) have a different number of splines. Count them on both, if you still have the old trans.

You can reuse your current flywheel and pressure plate, but will need a new clutch disc if you indeed have this issue.

you have to buy a new clutch because of the spline count.

Only if the count is different. Some aren't.

I have a YS1 (LS) transmission in my B16 and I had to get a new clutch. Just get one from a 90-93 Integra. I also had an S1 previously.

this might clear up what I'm trying to say better, I have a first generation b16a, which is older than a 92, just seeing if I could use my existing clutch housing and only have to purchase the clutch disc from a 92-92 integra to save some money. The point is I'm bolting a pre-91 b16a to a 92 ys1 tranny and need to know if I could use my existing exedy clutch housing that was first used with a s1 transmission to a exedy clutch disc from a 92-93 integra. I just didn't know if the bolt pattern for the clutch were the same.

As stated before, you need a 92+ B series disc.

the term you are looking for is Pressure Plate, not housing.
