Default H22 Balance Shaft : Cut belt or completely remove?

Hi,

I was wondering if I just took the belt off the balance shaft would make a difference in terms of a little more hp or do I have to get that kit that hondaddict sells?

yes...removing the balance shaft/belt WILL free up a few HP. A few H2Ber's have done this also...to have clearance near the car frame rail.

So you just removed the belt only???

Do you guys think I should get that mod kit for it or just remove the belt? I mean how much difference is there from the mod kit and just removing the belt?
