Many people will tell you that you don't need a camber kit. If you would like to run one, there is no harm in that either.

The simplest rear camber kit on the market is the Progress Group rear camber kit. It consists of 4 bolts, and 16 washers. As you may know, bolts and washers are quite common at hardware stores, and usually can be had for relatively little money. I chose to go through the Home Depot for my camber kit. I will try to find you a good write-up on how to do this bolt and washer trick. It involves replacing existing bolts with longer ones, and adding the shims (washers) behind the upper control arm to correct negative camber. The washers that I used provide about 0.3 degrees of camber correction each.

rear camber kits are unnecessary esp. with a minor drop like that

why not just use the good 'ol washer trick? solved! and yes, you should do something to correct the camber, it's not a "minor" drop on your tires.

are you daft? A minor drop won't affect the life of your rear tires on a FWD car.

Yeah just make sure the rear toe is adjusted correctly and tire wear shouldn't be a problem with that minor of a drop.

i suppose that is why my rear tires were shot after a month of driving on them after i had dropped my car ONLY 1.5". no, the entire tire was not worn down, the INSIDE of the tire was worn down. a 1.5" drop is not minor.

you probably have an insane amount of neg. camber due to a damaged suspension component or didn't have an alignment done after the drop. that is not normal. been hitting any curbs lately

who is to say you do or dont need it. If you are very **** about things and want things done right then i would get one if you dont want the the tire worn down uneven. it all depends on you.

example:
I have Neuspeed race springs that drop the car 2" front and 1.75" rear. Now this being a DD car i want the camber as straight as possible to get the most miles from my tires. Now on my other integra i have HKS Hipermax II Coilovers and slammed. That being a car that is more for a weekend car i dont have a camber kit on there. Now if you are using your car for some sort of racing then a camber kit would help you as setting the camber for the particular racing setup helps the tires work to your advantage.

I used the bolts and washer trick myself. Worked well for my 2" drop!
