I just got a short ram intake for my 96 civic lx..The thing is it squeals then it sounds really good. Squeals again, sounds really good. You get the point.

Also can anyone give me some tips for install on how to keep it secure.

My intake came with just:
Air Filter
Tube
Two Clamps
Two Rubber Connectors

 

Cars do that. You mean when you floor it and it sounds like it squeaks for a quarter second, then revs go up right?
