Dead
I need some help my 91 HB wont start unless I jump start it with the some cables. Once I connect it to my Spec V it lights up when I leave the ignition swith open. Right after its hooked up it will crank with one turn of the key. I heard if the alternator is bad and you disconnect the battery the car should turnoff and the lights shouldn't light up. FYI the battery was bought brand new a phew months back.

Um, have you tried a known good battery? Take the batt outta that car and try it! lol...
