moroso oil pan and z10 traction bar don't mix :(
About 4 years ago I bought a Moroso sheet metal oil pan. Later I got some z-10 traction bars. The clearance was about 1/8", which I was definitely not comfortable with, and eventually the left bar rubbed a nice mark on the oil pan.. 
It's been bugging me for years. Now that the engine is out, I have the opportunity to correct this little flaw before it becomes a major problem :wink:
Step 1: use layout dye to mark the area

Step 2: scribe cut lines

Step 3: cut hole

Step 4: cut a patch


Step 5: buy welder a 12-pack of his favorite beer and have him weld it
