Default 5TH Gen Luder's what is the best power mods?

I have a AEM V2 intake, and Tanabe exhaust. I am looking to get a litte more power out of it but stay n/a. What can I do? I have built several Civics but this is my first H22.

x2
+ high flow cat or no cat at all ...is pointless to get header+exhawst with much higher flow and having the stock cat restricting the **** out of your exhawst gas

NA Preludes in summary: An engine that has mediocre power, a chassis that weighs far too much, and a raped bank account. It doesn't get any sillier than that

Not to get off topic here, but there are many positive benefits of going N/A. Educate yourself on the options before you post your opinion as a fact. Just because everybody is jumping on the boost is better bandwagon doesn't mean a thing. My car will have around 195 all motor whp by the end of the summer and I gurantee you that I will be keeping up with my friends with their boosted B and D series motors. The weight thing is getting out of control too, a EK civic weighs 2700 llbs and my prelude weighs 2950, 250lbs will not kill performance

+1
So much more respect for NA with high whp output.
Sure it may be costly, but reliability is there and that's one of the most important parts in my book. Anyone can just slap on a turbo or supercharger, it takes skills, time, patience, and money to build an NA H22.

You shouldn't worry about off-topicness, though. The OP's question was already best answered in the first reply.

mediocre, you must be mistaken dude, have you not seen the recent thread, a quite mild h22 is making 252whp on a 30hp low dynapack, basically dynojet numbers are looking to be about 280whp/200tq.....mediocre indeed, and thats only on 12:1 compression and jun cams......

chassis weighs too much blah blah blah you have a prelude you like it you hate turbos you want fast you strip extra crap out and smoke stupid turbo 5th gens, come to raleigh i can add you to the NA is best victim list....

silly boy, turbos are for pussies, make REAL power

ps: we just got done w/a little revving of johns beast.....mmm sounds tasty

so is the power that I will gain after I finish my custom turbo kit going to be imaginary power?

im loving my 280+ lb tq. and i made that at a fraction of the cost of an NA build. NA 4 bangers cant touch that.

just adding to the fire

i have the end-all be-all answer to the boost vs. n/a controversy, and that is...

different strokes for different folks.

I personally chose n/a because i dont have a few k layin around to make my motor boost friendly to the point where i would be confident driving it around for another 50k miles. Plus, i mean, what sounds better: 220whp at 7 psi or 220 whp at 0 psi?

n/a just seems more like a challenge to me, and im diggin it all the way.

my .02 you guys, thats all. Again, it all depends on the persons expectations for their car, you guys have to respect that and quit imposing your own standards on others.

mgags: so why the hell didnt you take video of that?
