Hi all, I want to post a running dialogue on my current accord issues.
My car will, once warmed up, will not shift into 1st or second normally, instead, it slips, the engine winds up in RPM, and if I let it, the car would slam into gear. I've seen this before and don't allow the engine to rev that high. The Check Engine light just came on 2 days after the tranny started acting up and I get a code of P0740, which translates into Torque Convertor Clutch Circuit Malfunction.

Anyone else have this issue and find the resolution to be something OTHER than a tranny rebuild or replacement?
