do you have to have a bandsaw or can you use something else like a cut off saw or chop saw?

or can you get a "good enough" bandsaw thats about the same price of a chop saw to use?

i dunno....I'm hoping people with experience do

 

Bandsaw is the best, but I just use my computer, yeah I email Sam at bmcrace.com and he makes them for me

You can use a chop saw though

 

how big of a bandsaw? Jet has a 5x6 that tool storage warehouse has on sale for around $300 shipped to me.

If thats good enough for a 3" or 4" long collector, I'll just save up for it and grab a used chopsaw from somewhere
