pick up only.

5. Anyone selling a Large ticket Item such as Seats, Full Interiors, Engines, Body Parts, and the like are Required to Email the moderators with the VIN # from the car that the part came from, In the case of an Engine a Picture of Both the Vin Plate and Serial# with Block code must be taken. (PLEASE NOTE - Include a link to your Post so that WE can put the 2 together.)

6. There is no such thing as "pick-up only" on Honda-Tech. If you can post an ad, you can pack it and ship it. This policy is in place so that EVERYONE can take advantage of people selling things, no matter what area you live in. International shipping is up to the discretion of the seller. If you don't like this policy, don't post here. It's free to do so, so please abide by these rules.

Failure to conform to the above rules will result in your Post either being Deleted or Locked. You may also lose % points, amount will be left to the Moderators judgement.

These Rules are in effect to protect the members of this board.

Thank You.

That rule does not apply to the Regional Classifieds (go to http://www.hondamarketplace.com and pick your region) and to Vehicles For Sale.

It's no longer strictly true that there is no such thing as pick-up-only.

Enforcing that old rule across the boards would simply result in fewer ads being placed.

If you try to force somebody to ship you a car who doesn't want to ship you a car, you're obviously asking for serious trouble. You're going to have to pick the shipper yourself, and pay the shipper yourself, and you won't be assured of good cooperation at the remote end.

I'm not sure why everything has to be such a big deal.

Regarding the VIN: Yes, a seller does have to supply a VIN for major items like engines and transmissions.
