Default tranny swap

will a 89 prelude b20 dohc tranny fit onto a 93 h23? i dont really know much about transmissions so any help would be nice. also are there any other trannys that will fit it and bolt on like its supposed too and work right.

I asked why. The money you would spend to get that tranny to work u could have gotten 3 or 4 h23 trannies

actually its kinda hard finding h23 trannys. i'm currently looking for one local and cheap.

anyways, to the OP, no you can't use it.

and the reason why some ppl have smartass remarks is just because to the average car person (i use this term loosely) doing something like this is just backwards. yes i realize it will save you money but i'm the type of guy who will pay to do it right or not do it at all.
