b16a/b question

If i were to buy a b16b motor would i be able to use b16a parts interchangably like the starter, alternator this like that.

Starter yes. Alternator and some other parts depend on what generation the eniges are.

if i bought a b16b from hmotorsonline.com they say 96+ - would i be able to use things from say 99-00 usdm b16
