I wouldve searched but apparantly the search server is down right now. Anyone know of some brake pads that grip nice but arent too dusty?

 

i think PBR makes some pads. check them out.

Hawks are dusty I've heard. AEM's barely give out dust.

 

stock OEM pads don't give off as much dust.....good pads for daily use.

Your intended use of pads is not mentioned so I presume you are looking for daily driving pads.

 

ahh i left that out. i guess i drive them kinda hard, im into the twisty backroads so im kinda beating on them a bit i guess, probably part of why the pads on there are makin such a frikkin mess.

 

I say aem, but do some more reasearch before you buy anything.

 

Napa sells some dustless pads that arent bad 45.00...

 

Those 'dustless' pads from NAPA are probably ceramic. Good stuff. I have a set of ceramics on my front atm and I have no dust problems.

They feel exactly like my old pads just without the dust.

Hawk, I've never had dust problems w/ Hawk

 

Think i might go with some Hawk pads, couple of my friends have them and they're not too bad on dust from their experience. They also grip pretty nice too

Are you running OEM rotors or aftermarket rotors? The OEM rotors will get eaten up by ceramic or semi metallic pads. I would stay with OEM. Less dust and the last for ever! I have some aftermarkets on mine right now and they have made noise from day one and have all kinds of dust. I didn't have the money for the OEM's at the time.
