Default Replacing a b20b with a b20z?

Is it straight bolt in? What parts would I need from the b20z donor car to make it work? ecu? axles? mounts?

Its a 97 CRV with a b20b currently in it. Gotta love the edit haha.

Why would you make a thread and not even be able to give details?

Ok just had to get it straight.
Really i'm not sure. You may want to ask in the teg area. The swap may have been done before into one of those. So the reverse steps could be used.

i think it should work
but realy why bother
what would the differance be a couple of hp
it would most likly be cheaper to
like for example i am going to do a b16 head swap
higher comp pistons and stronger rods i hope it'll put out about 180 or so to the wheels

Its a Direct swap. You will need to used your Complete Mani and Dizzy on the B20z2.

I did motor at work for a customer it was a 99 crv i believe. Motor grenaded and parts ordered a jdm b20. One was a z one was b. They had diffrences in the oil pumps had to be swapped because of crank sensor locations. Don't know if this applies to US motors or be any help. This was a long time ago so details a little foggy.

yeah, i dont think it would be worth it either if youre trying to upgrade. if youre replacing a damaged motor then its a different story.
