Need a B16A2 block, anyone?
The block on the SSC car has seen enough after about 40 hours of track time with a few rehone/rerings. Its losing enough oil and enough compression to where I'm down 10-15whp and can't go through a 45min race w/o losing vtak.
Its got a fresh head with 5 or so races on it, with new valves, springs, etc, and I need a used straight block which I can rehone and into which I can put in new pistons, rings, bearings, etc.
Its a 99 Civic Si, so its a B16A2 right? Anyone got one?

Yes, it is a B16a2. You can find those in the market place most of the time. They are not hard to find, and can usually be had for less than 200 bucks for a near complete short block if you look hard enough!

Oh, I would not bother with the WTB post. Just search through the forum. It can take a bit of searching, but those blocks are out there. They can be found pretty regularly due to the fact that so many people with an "Si" want to make it faster and they change out the 1.6 block for a 1.8!
Good luck on the search.
