I believe Radio Shack services vtechs....and possibly Circuit City.

When I worked there we always recommended people get the Panasonic's because the Vtech's always suck.

Wow... Burn...

What color is your VTECH? Is it cordless? How long does the battery last and how many times was it dropped??

^^ These are all deciding factors on your problem..

Wow are you guys ever useless

I am by no means an expert... but if you are in fact having VTEC issues, then I would start by checking your VTEC solenoid (check Helm's or other manual for location), since it doesn't appear that you are in limp mode (can rev over 5k).

Also, there's lots of threads like these, Search, and you will find your answer

https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=830163

Helped me with my problem and, if it hasn't dawned on you yet, VTECH is a popular brand of telephones, and buy flaming you it makes them feel better and smarter than you, hope I actually helped you.

I can't get my Vtech to work at all. Ever since I bought it and connected the phone wire, it just never picked up the call. It always rang but i could never hear anything when i pick up. I say trade in your Vtech. I'm gonna get rid of mine ASAP.

'Rattle' at idle plus no vtec: sounds to me like a spun bearing. Check your oil lately?
