si transmission into dx

Hi i have a 1989 crx dx i was wondering if i could take a 90 si transmission and put it into my car i have the clutch shift linkdges and the axels

Keep your 89 flywheel and clutch. Do not try to match 88-89 clutch or flywheel with 90-91 clutch or flywheel. They will not work togeter.

They will not work togeter.</TD></TR></TABLE>sure they will. an 89 clutch will work just fine on a 90 flywheel. the surface is bigger on the flywheel than it is on the clutch, so technically, there would be nothing to interfere with it.

either way, a good general rule is to keep the years the same unless its 90+
