Hey guys, i'm sorry for this question but I did'nt get the answer I was looking for when I searched. I have a bone stock 00 gsr, and I have a JDM itr header sitting in the garage. Now if I put this on the car, since its obd2, will the check engine light come on. If the check engine light comes on, can I still run it, or will the ecu go on limp mode. It will be connected with a magnaflow exhaust and a carsound cat. Also, how long does the cat have to be?

lol no worries, just have muffler shop cut off some of your b piping to accomodate the extra length the header will have. i dono if those need 02 sensors or something(the header). but i baught a carsound cat and it had no 02 bunges so they just welded some in for me. i dont have a jdam header but my cel doesnt come on. and i doubt it'd go into limp mode. i know if we disconnect the speed sensor it will go into limp mode. (no vtak sucks....hard)
