Default Removed my clutch delay.

Today we had the Delval mod day. It was a good event and about 25 cars were there throughout the day.

Their is a tech from NY that came down and he knows his stuff. I was a little tired of walking and talking to everyone, so i decided to jack the car up and have him help me with the clutch delay since he had the picks.

Over all it was an easy trial.

The only problem we ran into was removing the retainer with the pick, and once it poped out it flew so we lost it. That was solved by a quick trip to Home Depot. We adjusted my clutch fork and throtle cable.

Everything is great now. The car shifts so much better

excellent!

Wasn't someone going to do a write-up on the delay valve removal on the 04+, too?

I assume this was sarcasm as the heel-toe is very nice and simple in the S2K, even in the 04+. In fact, I find it easier in our '05 rather than the earlier editions.

I think the face is a dead giveaway of sarcasm.

As for the Heel-toe being smoother in the 04+, my conclusion is that this is because the CDV is making up for any imperfection in the shift. I hate my delay valve and wish it wasn't there so I could shift faster when I wanted to without burning my clutch.

its not hard, and my hardtop is on 24/7.

all you need is a new rain channel so you don't have to remove rivets.
