ITR transmission @60mph wuh rpm are you @?
Hello. I just got the JDM 96 spec Type-R engine with LSD. I looked up the gear ratios and its the same as the GS-R gear ratios. When I was with the GS-R on the highway @ 60mph... Im @ 3000RPM. Now when I'm with the 96 spec JDM Type-R.. @ 60mpg I am at 3400RPM. My question is this right?
What is the USDM B18C5 rpm at 60 mph?
Also what is the JDm B18C 98+ Type-R rpm @ 60mph?
Thanks a lot.

JDM 96 spec gear ratio is NOT the same as GS-R. Only the 1st and FD is the same 2nd to 5th is different.

96 Spec R gear ratios
1st 3.230
2nd 2.105
3rd 1.458
4th 1.107
5th 0.848
Reverse 3.000
Final Gear Ratio 4.400
USDM DC2 GS-r gear ratios
1st 3.230
2nd 1.900
3rd 1.360
4th 1.034
5th 0.787
Reverse 3.000
Final Gear Ratio 4.400
So, the 96 Spec R ratios are not the same as the GS-R.
I can't recall off the top of my head how many revs I'm turning @ 60. It's that awful? I should pay attention sometime.
