Default alternator help

ok so my alternator crapped out on me and i have a 86 civic which i replaced the alternator on a year or 2 ago and its just sitting not being driven anymore and i was wondering if it would fit in the crx without any mods or else i'm just gonna have to get a new one

I'm guessing your driving a CRX , do you still have a D series engine in the Rex ?
If so it should bolt up , but not sure if the plug will match up.
Hell try it and see , its a 20 min. job and could save you some cash.

ok so i took the '86 civic alternator out and it was the same bolt pattern but the wiring is definitly different, theres the 1 positivive and 2 other wires and on the crx theres 4, i know i probably could still have used it but i didnt feel like re-wiring it and spending time figureing out which wire is what.... so i just bought a remanufafctured one from candian tire
