Hrm, $4000.00 loan at 4 years is 120 a month.

Suddenly the idea of saving for newer furniture isn't that promising.

Use the vehicle as collateral.

I just did the same thing! Except it was a personal loan. I just told them I needed money for my car, as you can see. It was more of an influential factor for them. They saw the need, and gave me the loan I wanted. But one thing I didn't wanna do was use my car as collateral. Besides, some places only give you a percentage of what your car is worth. But good luck on the loan!

what about a school loan? Next year i'll be going to college and i'm not sure if i should take out a loan. Low intrest and i don't have to pay until i get out of college always sounds good. Take out 1,000 or so and have some extra money for the car

i think getting a bank loan is a bad idea... what happens if you wreck your car or your car gets stolen. then you will be reminded everytime you mail off your payment... plus its like cheating... might as well have layway...lol. work hard and save cash is the best way to go.

I took out an $8K loan for 2 years. I have 13 more payments. $6K went to go fast goodies.

I took out a $1500 personal loan two years ago when I first go tmy teg, it all went to go fast parts and a trackschool (the best $200 I ever spent!)

as long as the interest is LOW, go for it!

One thing to remember: it's easy to spend borrowed money, but a lot harder to pay back. (Ask anyone with a Visa card )
