I guess this definitely falls into the Off-Topic category, but i had to share this with you all since i new how much you could appreciate what a find this was.
To make a long story short i friend from school was selling his "integra" that had a "blown" tranny and he wanted rid of the car before he could purchase a new one.
Well... being a honda enthusiast i naturally took interest in the car and asked him to send me some pics. After taking a look at the pics he sent and assessing what damage i could, i made him an offer.
Turns out the car doesn't have a busted tranny, it more than likely needs a clutch or the slave cylinder replaced. Not 100% sure of which yet. Anyways... the car is a 1997 GSR with 115K miles.
The timing belt, water pump and all other belts were just replaced as well as 4 brand new tires having been put on 15" steelies. My new DD cost me $1600
Oh... he gave me the Sirius ready Kenwood deck that was in it too
Here are a couple pics i just snapped and thought i would throw up.

Here are the pics of the damage... it has some dents in teh passenger quarter, and the drivers side fender. The dent in the fender can definitely be beaten out.

Mods/Friends...... if this isn't appropriate for this forum and you wish you move it please do so, i have no problems with that. I just wanted to share with those who would care the most

sweet.. i remember u were telling us about it at the meet thats real fair price.. considering that the timing belt installion alone from a dealership costs about $1000
hopefully it doesn't turn into another money pit
is the tranny really "blow"?

no ... as stated it more then likely needs a clutch, which is a golden opportunity to put something with a little bit more grab in there

Nice Jon, it seems worth it, most gsr's in fair condition go for 5k approx. I've heard some theft recoverys going for about 5k as well. So that much for something that's needs a clutch seems decent to me. Hey, I also got a new DD this past weekend,
an '88 Jetta GL... for $400
... the things a piece but atleast I have my R.

Yeah hopefully this wont become a mod-queen as the ITR has. I have a few items laying around actually that i can put on already. I have new 615s for the GSR wheels on the way. I figured with summer practically here, and steelies with brand new tires for the winter why not by some nice summer tires.
Although i haven't and dont plan on doing suspension on the ITR until i can outdrive what i have stock, i am however gonna dump the **** out of the GSR
