Default immobilizer questions(chipped p28/harness adapter)

Hello yall

Could you please answer some questions I have about the R immobillizer

If I want to run a Skunk2 OBD2>OBD1 addapter harness on a R so that I can a chipped P28 ,how do I deal with the immombillizer ,can it be removed?

It should be removed with the OBD1 ecu.

thanks...so by just plugging in the harness and using the p28
I won't have any probs with the immobilizer?

it will be like you don't have one at all. i've got a p28 hondata system in my car and am using the Type R key you got with the old cars on it with no problem.

You should not, I have not heard of any problems from people doing this. You might want to hear form some one who has done it.

If you already have the harness and ecu, plug it in and try, that will tell u for sure.

no I don't have the harness yet...its like $400 up here ,I don't wanna get it if there are going to be probs.
