Default My clutch pedal is starting to squeak

My friends clutch pedal was doing the same thing in his Crx.
One day his just snapped and he had to ghetto rig it. Anybody had this problem,
and if so is there any thing I should check or replace.

my clutch pedal also squeaks a bit as well as my brake pedal...a friend told me that he had the bushings replaced, dont know it that will fix it but you can look into it if you want. As for me my whole car is one big *** squeak

if it sounds like a moaning sound, it's likely just the spring. spray some WD-40 on it, it should be as quiet as ever. if you want to ensure it's not the cable, check it out. pull back the rubber boots and inspect the cable for wear (mainly at the ends, at the pedal and then at the tranny).
