hello all,
I am possabley looking for someone to make me a carbon fiber dash instert to replace the whole piece, over the radio and the guages and ac stuff are, i havn't been able to find one on the net, if someone can, point me to one that would be great.

Well we can't give you much help if we don't know what your car is.

 

check out tasauto.com they got carbon fiber for the whole interior.

 

You could try a dash trim kit, though I've never been a big fan of them. If you get a high quality kit, you should be fine.

 

Can you link to that as i coudlnl't find it? The only kit i found was stick on.. i want a fully molded piece.

I'm not sure if anyone makes a fully molded piece. You could probably cover the current piece with a layer of carbon fiber.

 

wErd I dont' think they make carbon fiber dash pieces for the accord. Here is a picture of my stick on kit............

 

Try the Fabrication forum. There are more people in there that would be able to help you on a subject like this.

 

try ebay... ive been lookin at these also.. but the aluminum ones.. prices differ from 50 -100.. im lookin at the 100+ ones..

I would stay away from ebay dash kits.

 

The Ebay dash kits as you put them are stick on, what i am looking for is a fully molded piece to replace the stock one, there is a guy in the fab forum that has a shop that makes stuff i think i will go there and ask.

dont mean to kill the thread but what makes a high quality dash kit, i mean whats the difference between a 50$ one and a 150$ one?

 

why don't you just remove the dash, buy some carbon fiber sheets, and resin, and do a wet lay up for your dash.....jk, i would start small.....
