Default car won't stay running any suggestions

I own a 1993 lexus es300 that won't stay running once it reaches normal operating temerature. If anyone has any advise on what sensors may cause this to happen i would apreciate it very much.

P.S. once i get it running well i will be trying to trade it for an ef or eg si hatchback here on honda-tech.com.

THANKS!!!

coolant temp sensor possibly the easiest way to see is to put it on a scan tool like a snap on red brick etc. and see if the coolant temp sensor readings are rediculous like negative and such and if so the sensor is bad there are other ways to tell but thats pretty simple
