Default Swapped Motor with CA Emissions in San Diego

Hey, can anyone help with a hook up on where to get my car smogged in San Diego? I just moved here and I hear if you have a swap you won't pass. Thanks fo rthe help

its a 94 civic coupe with a jdm b18c and jdm gsr ecu

Firstly, you need a USDM GSR intake manifold, carb legal exhaust manifold, make sure the swap is OBD1 and under an OBD1 ECU. Every bolt on has to be carp legal. If your ECU is chipped, convert it back to stock settings. any type of richness in the fuel/bump mapping will cause you to fail the smog check. REF's do smog checks when they're doing a swap inspection.

With all that OK, you'll be alright and you'll pass ref/smog inspections. In short, no race-only parts and no ebay-cheap ****. uSDM intake/exhaust manifold on top of that and you're good.

I actually passed this morning. Maybe having the swap done by a guy that works at honda helped? I guess I was worried for nothing...Thanks for all the advice
