As promised...Pictures of the car Ive been working on...
This is for 90blackcrx, and a few others who requested pictures of the car Im working on. Its a '57 Fairlane, all carbon fiber body, Pro Mod chassis certified to 6.00 & slower. Motors are both in the machine shop right now. They're 620 cubic inches, all aluminum, and it will be injected on alcohol. Should make a little more than 1200 horses. Heads we had done flow CRAZY numbers...518 cfm @ .850 lift, so that helps in the horsepower area alot. We're going to be running a class that has a 7.60 index, but the car should run in the low 7's when all done(7.3 or so)
As for what I am doing...new tabs that hold the mid plate in, shifter platform and driveine loop, transmission tailshaft mount, tow point to tow it through the pits, and a couple other small things that dont really need to be done, but will make the car that much nicer.
DONT FLAME ME BECAUSE ITS NOT AN IMPORT! HAHA.
Onto the good stuff:

AND FINALLY....MY GOOFEY *** IN IT THE FIRST DAY WE GOT IT FROM FLORIDA!

Hope you all enjoy! Feel free to ask any questions...and maybe I can persuade some people to go to the american side of things...and make big time horsepower! HAHA JK.

You have to right click on the pic and go to properties instead of copying the address bar and resizing owns me lol
Cool thanks man! Im still not sure why that makes a difference but they work now! Thanks a bunch! Oh, and I forgot to mention...this thing IS STREET LEGAL besides DOT tires, registration, and of course..would be a little on the loud side. Has headlights, turn signals, horn, etc...

its a great looking car . Cant wait to hear what it runs once you take it to the track. is the car painted two shades of yellow the door looks a little lighter than the rest of the body. it may just be the angle of the pic. But none the less great looking car.
My brother and I had a 57 Ranchero. I still have the 1963 406 and 4sp that was in it. One day I'll put it in something.
Yeah...Richard Earle. Seemingly great guy...until he screwed is on the car! Defenitely got a bad *** car for the money, but alot of stuff was "forgot" or "no i didnt say that" type of thing. Shorted us $2000 worth of wheels, midplate didnt even sit in the car straight, there was a whopping 2 tabs that held the midplate in...tailshaft mount for the tranny doesnt fit...etc. But all in all...the car is a nice piece.
