In the service manual and owner's manual, Honda recommends 5W30 at all temperatures. 10W30 is also acceptable at higher temperatures (above freezing or thereabouts), but 5W30 is still preferred, even at those temps.
You can buy an owner's manual (which I recommend) and a service manual (which is a must if you plan to work on your own car) by clicking here.

on Mobil 1. Does not stand up to heat like it should. As far as weight, 5w-30 is all you need, no matter what state you live in. From Maine to South Beach it is fine.

Bullsh*t. Mobil 1 is one of the very best 100 percent synthetic oils you can get.
There's absolutely no reason to pay twice as much for a low-volume synthetic brand like Amsoil; most of the extra money you're paying is for their marketing and distribution through a bunch of small independent dealers, whereas Mobil 1 has very low distribution costs by selling high volumes through places like Wal-Mart, Sam's, Costco, etc.
If you want to overpay for your oil, that's fine. But Mobil 1 is excellent quality synthetic oil. (So is Pennzoil Platinum, which is often slightly less expensive than Mobil 1.)
Mobil 1 sells for $21.xx for a five-quart jug, and $26.xx for a case of six quarts, whereas Pennzoil Platinum sells for $18.xx for a five-quart jug, and $3.99 a quart, prices at Wal-Mart stores around the Midwest. That's slightly less than Costco or Sam's Club, both of which sell Mobil 1 for $27.99 for a case of six quarts.

Add a liter of oil to the crankcase.
And make sure you check it regularly when you're at the track.
(That's normal...)
