Default 90 Sedan Daily Build

I bought this today from a guy on here in West VA for $1,000. It's a 90 EX that needs some TLC. The AC/PS/CC have been removed which sucks. I got the cruise control to put back on it. I don't care about the power steering but I want AC in a daily so I'm going to attempt to find it at a junk yard or for sale somewhere and put it back on. All power goodies work but the back windows are off track. The distributer is going bad fast and it's smoking like a champ. It made the three hour trip home but barely. My goal with it is to build a reliable clean daily. Here is what's already done to it

ENGINE
d16a6 block
d16y7 head - 43k
89 si tranny
centerforce dual friction clutch
intake
header
ps9 ecu running manual
Interior
Integra center console swap
2000 crv cluster - yes it works minus vss
converted to gray front seats and black dash and door panels
pioneer speakers all the way around
short shifter and type r **** (gay ****)
Exterior
generic coilvers
jdm corners
eg jdm side markers
painter tail lights
9006 hyperwhites
DA front lip

Here are the pix:

I'll post up pix and updates as they happen. Let me know what you think!

That's the car you were telling me about! Cool! Drive it out to the meet on Sunday! I'll be there at like 8:00.

Thanks for all of the comments! My first order of business is to get it mechanically sound. The car didn't like the mountains to much at all and then about 20 mins from the house it started sputtering and loosing power through the entire rpm band. I haven't taken the motor above 4,500. I'm not complaining at all, for the money this was a great find. Hopefully it's just the dizzy going bad because I have one at home ready to go on.

Cool EX... I miss mine every day.

Looking for a set of JDM taillights? Maybe a rear disc swap? Various interior pieces? I have so much sedan stuff lying around it's silly.

yeah I don't know why he took off that stuff. it'll all get put back on eventually. I'm going over every bolt and screw in this car. He only had four on the header, one in the distributor, most of the lugs were loose and the driver side ground was loose!! The tranny is making a chattering sound and the motor is still lagging after bolting everything back up. ergh

I need a dizzy!!

still not complaining for the money spent, just can't wait till i have more to put into making it better

found out why the tranny was sounding funny. no speed sensor = hole = low/no tranny fluid. luckily i had my old sensor in the d15b2 auto tranny. just stuck it in there and bolted the flange down to keep it snug, put some fluid in it and it runs much smoother.

what could cause a jumpy idol? i put in a known good map sensor. timing?

1st thing: Check for vacuum leaks.

Then: FITV, IAT, and the Idle Screw on the throttle body.

That's just what I could think of.

I have a 91 Civic LX 4-door sedan, the problem is the seat belt buzzer keeps going off and never shuts off. The only way that I have found to stop the insane beeping is to leave the door ajar and lock it. PLEASE, someone help stop the insanity......thank-you.
