are the GSR injectors bigger? just wondering cause i just bought some rc's and was going to give my nephew the injectors, if they are what are the cc size of the sohc? i know gsr's is 240 cc.....

well i was running the injectors from my stock motor , and then change them in to GSR/Type R and i could tell you there not the same , felt a big difference .

 

No, they are different. I believe RC did a test and the SOHC's were all 200 - 210cc's. The DOHC B-series all were between 240-250cc's.

Can't remember the exact #'s though.... sorry.

 

i had a friend tell me the same thing, he had a small greddy turbo setup on his sohc and he swithed to gsr injectors and said it ran much better, he only had like 20k miles on the engine soit cant be the injectors were bad, anyone have a link to that rc test? conflinting info here

they are all the same. when i had my greddy turbo in my 99 cx i tried both and i felt no difference between the two.

If you compare the two injectors, they have the same markings. IF i had a bucket full of GSR and SOHC injectors you would not be able to tell the difference. Yes i feel into the same fallacy about changing my injectors from a SOHC to GSR, and end results felt no difference. But i am still curious if anyone can prove that they are different, and how would you be able to tell the difference if someone was selling you a set of injectors? HTH

 

they are the same part number, and just because one injector may be newer than the old one, doesn't necesarily mean the new one will work better, too many variables such as quality of gas, current condition of the fuel filter, fuel filter on the car of the new injectors, fuel injector filters (little tiny filters actually fitted on the injectors, etc.
