Default to all 3" custom exhaust builders: quick question

hey guys

I'm going to be building a custom 3" exhaust system for my integra very soon. i was wondering what type of bends i need in the rear section to go over the control arm/axel back. i'm buying pre-bent mandrel pipes.

would i take 2 90deg bends and cut them up and over......or do i use 2 45deg bends?

buying one 90 deg section will be cheaper than buying two 45's. if you have the tooling to cut and sand where needed go for the 90's or possibly u-bends (180 deg).

two 90 deg sections will more than enough material for the axle back section. i personally like to venture between the gas tank and lower control arm..

if it was possible for you to have access to a nice band-saw.. you can make your own PIE-CUT bends.. thats what we always did at the shop for Down-pipes, IC Piping and full exhausts.. PLUS: that way is alot more cost efficient since all straight piping is needed.. although the band-saw would have to have a turnable vise with hash marks for cutting angles.. we always cut 7* pie's for smooth bends and 15* pie's for tighter bends..

here's a pic of what i mean.. from a friends car:
