alright, right now i am working on valve lashing... just got it done and now am trying to replace the gaskets on the valve cover......I can't seem to get the valce cover spark plug hole seals out.........much less new ones back in....any idea on how this should be done...they are REALLY stuck in there tight........anyone else ever experienced this problem....PLEASE CHIME IN!!!!

 

they should pop right off. Maybe the person who did it last used too much gasket sealant or something? Just gently pry them out with a small flathead, if you have new ones to put in.

 

lol, yeah of course i have new ones....and these old ones are A BITCH.....ive tried prying with a knife, grabbing hold of it with pliers....they are stuck like CRAZY!!!! there is no gasket sealant on them.......the outside of this seal has a metal ban inside of it i think and it's really hard....it's kinds like there were pressed into there....with a press...lol.....any other ideas...
